Three-Year-Old Approved…

I don’t know about other people’s kids, but when my three-year-old twins find a book they like, the only choice seems to be that they must sleep with it. It can cause problems since many books have sharp corners and don’t make ideal bedmates, but what’s a book rep mom to do?  Ruby’s recent must-haves include:

Princess and Fairy by Anna Pignataro- this book was published last fall and despite its perfect girl appeal, did not really find the audience it deserved. Ruby loves to stare at the complex and detail-filled illustrations looking for treasures.

Pink Me Up by Charise Mericle Harper - this just came out and is getting some nice attention. My husband is a stay-at-home dad so I think the idea of “pinking” him up is appealing to her.

Ezra will glom onto anything that has Thomas and Lightening McQueen (from the movie Cars), but also has a soft spot for The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Not sure what it is about this little glittery guy, but he can’t seem to get enough!

I love “Pink Me Up!” I think it should be great for Father’s Day, but it has been doing very well for birthdays, too.
